Meet Philip Leggett

Philip Leggett

Philip Leggett was born in New Orleans but shortly after moved to Houston. It was through his father Dr. Philip Leggett that he was first exposed to the medical industry. He grew up understanding the importance of providing the best patient care possible, as well as the rewarding feeling of helping others. After attending The University of Texas at Austin, Philip moved to Los Angeles California to pursue his dream of acting. While in Los Angeles Philip discovered a passion for entrepreneurship and founded his first business, Burnt To A Crisp Texas Smokehouse, a successful Texas barbecue food truck that took the city by storm. The truck became the number one rated food truck in Los Angeles according to yelp, and expanded into multiple trucks. Philip worked very closely with the largest film studios in Los Angeles including Warner Bros and paramount among others, providing on-set catering as well as private parties for many celebrities and captains of industry.

During the covid-19 pandemic the business was forced to shut down and unfortunately was unable to support a growing family. Philip now has two incredible children and decided a move back to Houston was best for his family. Philip never lost his passion of caring for and helping others; in partnership with his sister Lindsey Paz they founded Leggett Prosthetics LLC. Philip says that this industry has been the most rewarding experience of his life. Philip brings an enthusiasm, positive attitude and compassion to work with him everyday. Working alongside amputees and providing hope for each individual patient; along with witnessing their progress brings a smile to his face and pride to his heart. Leggett Prosthetics is truly a labor of love for Philip and he looks forward to helping as many in need as he possibly can.
