About the Role
We’re seeking a Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist (CPO) to join our patient-centered clinical team. This full-time onsite role includes evaluating patients, designing and fabricating custom devices, performing fittings and adjustments, and delivering long-term support. You will work collaboratively with patients, physicians, therapists, and our in-house team to ensure exceptional outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated Salary: $80,000 – $105,000/year (DOE)
PTO: 10–15 days annually + 8 paid holidays

About the Role
Leggett Prosthetics & Orthotics is seeking a motivated Summer Prosthetic & Orthotic Intern/Assistant for a full-time, on-site role in Houston, TX. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to learn directly from experienced clinicians while supporting day-to-day operations in a professional prosthetic and orthotic clinic.
As part of the team, you will assist with patient consultations, fittings, adjustments, and device fabrication. You will help maintain a clean, organized workspace; support repairs; manage clinic inventory; and perform basic administrative tasks. This role provides exceptional exposure for students interested in pursuing careers in prosthetics, orthotics, biomechanics, or related healthcare fields.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated Pay for Undergraduate Summer Interns:
$16 – $20 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and academic background
