Healthy Veins, by FoodScience® of Vermont, is a specific formula for varicose veins containing some interesting ingredients. As of review, there are two prevalent ways of getting rid of varicose and spider veins. One method is to use laser, or IPL therapy, and possibly even some other surgical techniques. Another is to use medication-based solutions. Healthy Veins, which comes in a capsule form, is a basic formula drawing on the latter method. It is said to support healthy blood circulation.

However, we believe it may not be the most appealing product out there, for reasons we will outline below. Healthy Veins is manufactured by FoodScience®, as mentioned above, which promotes numerous other herbal extracts and support formulas. As such, the company has an official website. Fortunately, the official website lists the product in question, although we would have appreciated an exclusive website dedicated solely to the product. In any case, some of the ingredients are as follows: Vitamin C, Diosmin, Hesperidin, Butcher’s Broom and some undisclosed Mixed Citrus Bioflavonoids.

Diosmin is a member of the flavonoid family, and is frequently alluded to as a semisynthetic phlebotropic drug. It is said that Diosmin improves lymphatic drainage by increasing the total number of functional lymphatic capillaries. We find such exclusive online presence usually proves the manufacturer’s commitment towards its product. We find the best of such websites will feature prominent literature on its key ingredients and back them up with a slew of evidence, including data on their popularity and effectiveness. A good product website will also be backed by numerous and positive testimonials.

Overall, we are impressed by FoodScience®. Its Healthy Veins formula seems to have a few strengths, chief among them may be its inclusion of Diosmin in the formula. Furthermore, we like that it is a supplement; there may be many sham topical creams and gels on the market that are claimed to quickly reduce spider and varicose veins. Nevertheless, that it is not promoted through an exclusive website with exclusive customer care may speak volumes about the trustworthiness of the product as a whole.
We believe that specialized supplements, as opposed to topical applications, with ingredients known to have assisted many others, may be worth a trial. However, we believe it behooves a potential customer to ensure the supplement’s safety, efficacy and commitment to meet customer service requirements. Standards like FDA approval, wide, over-the-counter availability and pharmaceutical-grade quality may also be used to ensure product guarantee. A good product will probably have an exclusive online presence with lots of testimonials and even some before and after pictures.
