Summary |
Cellex-C® Spider Vein Complex is a topical application that is said to be a “lightweight gel designed to substantially reduce red or purple discoloration of Spider Vein .” However, we believe the “lightweight gel” may not really do much to target varicose and spider veins, which appear due to weak veins that lack sufficient active neuromediators. Appearance of spider veins usually causes a number of untoward psychological distresses. Therefore, it may be wise to get rid of such formations.
Fortunately, advancements in science and technology have allowed a detailed analysis of the causes and effects of varicose and spider veins. People get such veins because of a specific weakness of the vein walls and valves; as a result of the weakness, blood may begin to flow backwards, thereby causing the rather ugly looking veins. We will take a look at Cellex-C® Spider Vein Complex to conclude whether it may do anything to reduce the appearance of varicose and spider veins.

While using topical creams may provide some immediate and short-term relief, they may not do anything to target the problem from within. Opposed to such topical applications will be supplements that are meant to be ingested. An advantage of using such supplements for the relief of varicose and spider veins is that they get to work right at the root of the problem: the veins.
As mentioned above, varicose and spider veins are formed when the valves in the veins weaken and cannot sustain opposite blood flow pressure. As a result, blood may start flowing backwards, which, in turn, enlarges the veins and makes them visible to the eye. A common cause of this may be genetic. Another common cause may be hormonal imbalances, like that of Progesterone. Therefore, it seems obvious that the solution will lie in maintaining healthy veins. We doubt that any topical application may really do this.

The product does not have its own exclusive website at this time. As of this review, the official Cellex-C® website also does not list the product. We believe that a good way to judge the success of a product is to find out if it is being promoted through its own exclusive and official website. We find such websites also ensure a manufacturer’s customer service commitments. A good product website will have lots of customer testimonials and in-depth product information.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
In the end, we remain skeptical that the gel may do much to reduce spider veins. We may be initially attracted by the fact that it seems to be based on natural extracts. However, we believe that there may already be other proven and trustworthy products. Furthermore, the official manufacturer website does not even seem to list the product at this time.
Therefore, an option may be to research alternative products. Actually, there already are some supplements created specifically to reduce the appearance of varicose and spider veins. We find a trustworthy and safe product will be FDA-approved and will come with a 100% product guarantee. Moreover, products with proven track records will have advanced and approved ingredients. For instance, products with ingredients like Diosmin 95® that have undergone numerous clinical studies may be worth trying.
